Many of our Christian members know the Love of Christ, and others continue to search. No matter who they are, we welcome, and invite you to take advantage of our social network. We welcome you to also post on the blog and forum any family oriented topics.

Now let me explain a few things. Keep in mind there is nothing on the site you do you can’t change.

If you look to the top of any page in the right corner you will see tabs MY ACCOUNT, MY MAIL, MY PROFILE, MY FRIENDS, MY ECHO AND LOG OUT. Then a box under it to post an echo which I will explain in a bit. These tabs are for your quick access to your pages.

1. Each person that joins Agape Jesus has three main pages, An account page, a profile page and an echo page. I will explain all three to help you more understand how the site works. Let’s start with the account page. This page is the page you land on when you log into Agape Jesus. It has a black background with stars on it. When you are on this page you can click on the edit profile to change anything you did when you joined like your description, your password, username etc. Then if you click on the customize profile tab you can create your own profile page which I will explain in a bit. Your profile page is the page other members land on when visiting you on the site and your account page it just for you. When you are on your account page you can look in the center of the page in the block MY FRIENDS CONTACTS and see if you have messages or friends request on the site. In the box right under this you can see the site stats. If you look in this box you will see a Chatting tab. This will show you how many members are in the member chat room. You can click on this to enter into the chat room. (There are other ways to enter also I will explain in a bit)
2. Now let’s move into the customization section to build your own profile page and explain the profile page. Again this page is the page you design yourself to share things about yourself. When in the customization section you can change the color of the boxes, text etc in the top section. The lower section is to embed all kinds of html codes from places all over the net. If you can to embed a video from YouTube, music player, sideshow, photo gallery, graphics ect use these lower boxes. You can past html codes in any of the boxes and they will place them in different spots on your profile page. You don’t have to put them in specific boxes except if you want to embed a MySpace layout code. The MySpace layout codes must be pasted in the larger big box. You can also post a banner, photo etc in this box and it will post it to the top of your profile. If you have a little html knowledge I have a code you can use on www.a2zs.net You can make this code unique by changing the photo link, font color etc. Just go to www.a2zs.net and click on backgrounds. I have highlighted and explain what you need to change to make this code unique for you. One other thing about your profile page I would like to share. When you visit other profiles on the site you will see a box named ACTIONS This box will not be on your own profile only on other profiles. These tabs in this box you DO NOT need to perform on yourself. Like send a letter, befriend, greeting, block etc. These tabs you only need to do on others profiles so don’t worry you don’t see them in your profile other members do. Now lets move on to the echo page.

3. This echo page is like twitter only with a few more options. This is a great way to get a message out fast. You can make friends on Agape Jesus and befriend them. Once you befriend them and they accept you will see them on your friends list on your account page and profile page or in your MY FRIENDS page, Now that you are friends you can go back and follow them. By following them when your friend post an echo message you will get an email letting you know they posted one. Then you can login and come comment on there message. These messages can be up to 300 characters long. If you want to post an echo you can do so from three spots on the site. One in the upper right corner of any page, two your account page or three MY ECHO page. If you post from your MY ECHO page you can add a link to your posting or add a photo to your posting. When you post a posting it will show up on our home page for everyone to see even visitors. Your followers will be the only ones to come comment on your echo posting. Your postings and people you are following will show up on your account page and echo page. If you are not following someone you will not be able to comment on the postings.

Now let me take a moment and explain a couple other things on the site that might help you navigate the site easier.

Photos, There is two different photo sections on the site. One is your profile photos. These photos you upload on your account page by clicking on the profile photo tab. This will post a photo as your profile photo. You can upload up to 100 photos in this section to share with anyone who visits your profile to view. They will not be able to copy these photos.

Then there is the gallery photo. you can upload to here by clicking on the photo gallery tab at the top of any page. when you upload here the site will generate a code to embed the photo on your profile page or other sites around the net. This will also give others the option to share your photos with this code.

Music, we have a music player on your profile. This music player is black with floating stars. If you wish to upload music to this player for others to listen to when they visit your profile just click on the little wrench in the lower right corner of the player. This will take you to the music upload page. We have to approve all music so it may take a day or two to have them posted to your profile page. We also have a music gallery on the site. You can share music in this music gallery by clicking on the MUSIC tab at the top of any page. This will generate a code for the music player so you or other members can embed them on this site or others sites around the net.

Now I want to share the group section on the site. This is a great tool for any live bible study, church, youth group, organization, ministry, and group of friends or even your family. Each group has a bulletin to post topics on for the group, a photo gallery that members of the group can post photos on and a chat room. The person who creates the group will be the admin of the group and the admin of there own chat room. You as admin can appoint mods for your group. Then you and your mods can kick, ban or unban members as needed to keep your group in your control. Create a group and start inviting friends and family to come join you and build your group and chat room.

One last thing is we have a live member chat room on the site free for anyone to come fellowship, pray, uplift, or just share with others anything happening in your life. Please read over our few rules when entering the member chat room. You can enter this member chat room a few different ways. One is on the left of the home page you will see MEMBER CHAT click this and it will take you to our rule page. Scroll down to the bottom of this page you will see an ENTER CHAT. You will also see this same tab on the top right side of your account page for the same type of access. Now that you have read the chat rules and you want to just go to the chat room next time. Just login to the site you will be on your account page. In the account page at the top you will see Member chat click this and it will take you right into the chat room without going through the rule page. Or if you look in the center of the account page you will see block site stats. In the lower left column of this box you will see Chatting with a number. This will show you how many people are in the chat room. Click on this and it will take you to the chat room without going through the rules. There is alot more to this site and I would love to take the time to explain but this will help you get started. Again there is nothing on this site you post or do you can not edit or change so play around get familiar and enjoy. This site brings MySpace, twitter, face book and the love of Jesus together for a great place to fellowship.
